Jeanette has over 10 years’ experience working as a solicitor in residential conveyancing and she deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions for a wide range of client in relation to buying and selling of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, pre-auction advice, transfer of equity, equity release, right to buy and help to buy transactions.
Following completion of the LPC, Jeanette joined a firm of solicitors in Greenwich as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2008. She was then employed by a larger firm in South East London, specialising in all aspects of residential conveyancing and working with various offices around the UK. Jeanette joined the conveyancing department at Wellers in July 2019.
Jeanette has acted on a wide range of matters and property types in Chislehurst and nearby areas. She believes in providing a high quality service, building relationships with clients and taking the time to understand their needs. She endeavours to make the process as stress-free as possible.

Manveen is an experienced Family Law solicitor who works in our London City office. Since qualifying in 2004 Manveen has practiced solely in Family Law. She is an accredited specialist in finance and children issues, having conducted many cases of considerable wealth, cross jurisdictional issues and complex financial and children arrangements.

Susan has over 40 years’ experience working in the legal profession, working initially for a large firm of Solicitors in Fleet Street, studying in her spare time to qualify as a Legal Executive. She qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and ran her own practice for 20 years before merging with Wellers in 2016. She has wide experience in all aspects of residential property law, and general commercial contract and property disputes, she strives to provide a personal service and to build relationships with clients, a lot of whom she has worked with for many years. Susan is our Client Care Manager and oversees the firm’s Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme, accreditation.
In her spare time Susan enjoys cycling, walking and bell ringing, and is a Church of England Licenced Lay Minister.
Having run her own property development and rental business prior to joining the profession, Duaa has some insight into clients’ commercial and business needs. She is therefore particularly mindful of the need to ensure that she acts promptly and always keep clients, and agents, well informed at every stage of any transaction.
Duaa works across our Chislehurst and Sevenoaks offices. She is experienced in dealing with a broad range of commercial property transactions including commercial acquisitions, plot acquisitions and sales, commercial leases and option agreements. She also has extensive experience in dealing with the full range of residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, new build and re-mortgages. Duaa has particular expertise in dealing with Transfers of Equity and Equity Release. She has over 10 years’ experience as a landlord herself and 15 years lecturing in law and went on to qualify as a property solicitor in 2015, bringing her hugely valuable experience to her role at Wellers Reece-Jones.

Penny is a Personal injury Solicitor working within the Dispute Resolution Department
Penny has many years’ experience in dealing with accident and injury claims and in achieving excellent results for her clients, the majority of whom are referred to her by recommendation.
In addition to her Solicitor’s qualifications, Penny also holds an honours degree in History and a Private pilot’s licence. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, flying, reading and classic films.

Cara Hughes is our leading Private Client solicitor, based in our Horsley office. She has over four years’ experience in this field of work. The key to her success has been taking the time to listen to clients’ real concerns and not presuming to know what they need until a matter has been fully discussed.
Cara is a specialist in this area and is a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and achieved a distinction in studying the STEP Diploma. She has spent the last few years working at another legal firm in Surrey before joining Wellers Hedleys and prior to that was an in-house lawyer in the legal department of an accountancy firm addressing a wide range of legal requirements for their clients.

Rosalind is a Senior Litigation Solicitor who qualified in 1989 and who is based at our Bromley Office.
Rosalind spent the first 10 years of her legal career at the “Magic Circle” City firm Allen & Overy where she was a solicitor in their Litigation Department dealing with large financial and contractual disputes. Following a year at another City firm, Baker & McKenzie, Rosalind decided to move out of the City to a more local firm where she would be advising individuals and small & medium-sized businesses and where her advice would make a real difference.
Rosalind spent the next 18 years at Dodd Lewis (formerly James & Charles Dodd) where she became a Partner and ran the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. She is now an expert in most areas of Litigation and Dispute Resolution, including Employment law and disputes and residential and commercial tenancies, helping clients with all their various problems and prides herself on bringing clients her City experience at a local price.
She will always consider all ways to avoid a dispute where possible but will then be a tough and tenacious litigator for her clients. In 2017, Rosalind joined Wellers and it is confirmation of her rapport with clients that so many of them also decided to follow her to Wellers.
Rosalind has built up an impressive CV in all aspects of Contentious Probate disputes and is a member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (“ACTAPS”). - Barnes –v- Phillips  EWCA Civ 1056 – Acting for a client in a case pursuant to ToLATA 1996 where the Court of Appeal upheld the lower Judge’s decision that the client’s beneficial interest in the property had been increased from 50% to 85% after Mr Barnes had moved out
- Acting for a client who lost her business and also her home when another firm of solicitors failed to protect her right to a new commercial tenancy and obtaining significant compensation for her.
- Acting for a client whose father had been illiterate and proving that the Will he signed cannot have been valid and ensuring that she was paid her rightful share of his estate.
- Acting for a minor child and his mother who had been effectively left out of his father’s Will and ensuring that at Trial he received a significant share of his late father’s estate.
- Acting for a client whose father had been unduly influenced to “give” his only property to the client’s sister, successfully overturning that “gift” and resolving the division of the father’s estate after his death without the need for a Court trial.
- Acting for a client claiming that his mother had promised to leave him half her estate if he carried out various work and successfully resolving his claim after his mother disinherited him.
- Acting for the widow of a deceased who had essentially been written out of his Will and successfully obtaining half his estate for her at Trial.
Diana is a Solicitor in the Residential Property Department based in our Bookham High Street Office. She qualified as a solicitor in 2009.
Diana is originally from Halifax in West Yorkshire, although she spent ten years living on the south coast and is now based in Surbiton.
