Head of Accounts
Due to retirement we are looking for a replacement Head of our busy Accounts Team. Wellers is an ambitious and expanding five Partner Law Firm with offices in Bromley and
- responsibility for the three other members of the Accounts Department
- be a qualified member of the AAT or equivalent qualification
- excellent experience as a legal cashier with management responsibilities
- a detailed working knowledge of the SAR, the Law Society’s Code of Conduct and Money Laundering Regulations together with a sound understanding of legal practices and procedures across the main disciplines
- experience of one or more legal practice management and payroll software systems
- the ability to produce management and annual accounts to Trial Balance
- and understanding of key aspects of law firm financial management and reporting
- extensive experience of Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on MS Excel
