Roger Taylor has over 40 years’ experience in local government law and procedure, during which time he has acquired considerable depth of knowledge and experience in all matters relating to Town, Parish and Community Councils.
The department is run and managed by Roger Taylor who through his extensive experience and knowledge, manages and guides members of his team.

Roger is assisted by Mariam Baraki, a solicitor, who provides a first class support to our Town and Parish Council clients. Mariam Baraki deals with various local council matters and her main areas of practice are Charitable Trusts, Judicial Review and Litigation.
Alongside Roger and Mariam, Frances Webster is also a key member of the team who can provide legal advice across a range of issues and organises and conducts a wide range of training courses and programmes for Clerks and other council employees.
