Our family lawyers and solicitors serve clients across Bromley, London, Surrey, Sevenoaks, and the New Forest, providing comprehensive advice on divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, prenuptial agreements, and civil partnerships. Whether you're facing relationship breakdown, need to protect your children's interests, or require urgent intervention for domestic abuse concerns, Wellers Law Group's experienced family solicitors combine decades of legal expertise with a compassionate, practical approach.
We are happy to meet face to face at one of our six offices, or remotely if more convenient and we can arrange meetings out of normal business hours if required.
If your marriage or relationship has broken down and you’ve reached the decision to separate, our family experts understand that your situation is unique, sensitive, and critical. We will guide you through the process to achieve the best possible outcome for you and your family.
Divorce SolicitorsOur Financial Settlement experts can guide you through the division of assets and help you to achieve a successful settlement that works for you and everyone involved.
Financial Settlement SolicitorsWe understand the unique challenges and complexities surrounding children’s legal matters and are passionate about safeguarding children’s rights and well-being. We offer empathetic and expert legal support to ensure the long-term interests of your children remain at the centre of every decision you make.
Child Maintenance SolicitorsWhen you’re about to tie the knot, or happily living with your spouse, it’s difficult to imagine what would happen if you separate. We can give you peace of mind by preparing a robust pre/post nuptial agreement to protect your assets.
Pre Nuptial SolicitorsThe law differs in relation to same sex marriages and civil partnerships. Our trusted experts have experience in dealing with all aspects of both and can provide you with the highest quality legal advice.
Civil Partnership SolicitorsMany couples are now choosing to live together rather than get married, but what you might not realise, is that under English Law there is no such thing as a “common law” husband or wife. We can guide you in legal matters arising from cohabitation.
Cohabitation SolicitorsNearly a quarter of all recorded violent crime in England and Wales is domestic violence abuse with one incident of domestic violence or abuse being reported to the police every minute. You are not alone. We can help you stop this happening to you.
Domestic Violence SolicitorsOur adoption lawyers provide expert guidance through every step of the adoption process, including stepparent adoption and private adoption. Whether you're adopting your partner's child or navigating the assessment process for private adoption, our compassionate solicitors ensure your journey to building your family is supported with clear, professional advice.

Excellent and supportive service at a reasonable price. I trust them to deliver a timely and good outcome. Even though I have moved from the area I would still remain a client and recommend.
Could not recommend this Law firm enough. They dealt with a very complex case for us and went above and beyond to provide advice, support, and time to getting it through. Thank you!

Instruct a family lawyer as early as possible when relationship issues arise, ideally before making major decisions about separation, finances, or children. Early advice helps you understand your rights, avoid costly mistakes (like leaving the family home prematurely or making informal financial agreements), and establish a strategic approach. Seek urgent advice if you’re experiencing domestic abuse, your partner is threatening to remove children from your care, or you suspect assets are being hidden or dissipated.
We provide comprehensive family law services including: divorce and civil partnership dissolution (contested and uncontested), financial settlements (property division, spousal maintenance, pension sharing), child arrangements (residence, contact, specific issues, parental responsibility), prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements for unmarried couples, domestic abuse, and international family law (jurisdiction, child abduction). Our family solicitors in Bromley, Surrey, Sevenoaks, and London have experience across all these areas and can advise on the most appropriate course of action for your situation.
Not always. Many family law matters are resolved through negotiation, mediation, or collaborative law without court proceedings. However, you’ll need to attend court if: finances are contested and require Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) or final hearings, child arrangements cannot be agreed and require a fact-finding or final hearing, urgent protection is needed (domestic abuse injunctions, prohibited steps orders), or enforcement of existing orders is required. First hearings are often procedural and can sometimes be attended by your solicitor alone. We’ll always be clear about when your attendance is required and prepare you thoroughly.
