Julija is a Trainee Solicitor who is currently training in her second seat in the Commercial Property department. Julija is supervised by Nina Rajani, a Partner and the Head of Property in the London City office.
Julija graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a First Class Honours degree in Law in 2018, during which she received the prestigious “Leeds Law School Prize Awarded for the Best Overall Performance” for the final year of her undergraduate studies due to her academic excellence.
Following completion of her Law degree, Julija joined Wellers Hedleys in October 2018 as a part-time Administrative Assistant based in the Butler House office in Surrey, where she primarily assisted the Town, Parish and Community Council department in carrying out day-to-day tasks.
Alongside her role at Wellers Hedleys, Julija also embarked on her part-time Legal Practice Course with a Masters in Law at the University of Law in Guildford, for which she secured the “Law First Postgraduate Scholarship”. Julija successfully completed her postgraduate studies with an overall Distinction in 2020, following which she was offered and accepted a Trainee Solicitor role in the firm’s London office, which Julija started in September 2020.
During her first seat, Julija trained in the Residential Property department, working closely with Luke Roberts, a solicitor in the London office, and his team. During this time, she worked on various new build and non-new build conveyancing transactions. Being involved in numerous cases deepened her knowledge and understanding of how to successfully handle a variety of tasks for clients to achieve their objectives effectively.
In her spare time, Julija particularly enjoys spending time outdoors, attending the gym to stay fit, cooking and listening to podcasts about human psychology and history.
