The period for accepting Applications for March 2011 has now closed. At this time we do not know if we will be able to offer any Training Contracts in September 2010. We usually consider whether we are able to offer Contracts nine months before commencement of a Contract. However, please feel free to apply and we will consider your application at the nearest available start date.
As part of the application process you should complete our pro forma application form and in addition supply a typed personal statement (up to about 500 words) in which you should include under separate headed paragraphs:-
- Any details of your education and/or qualifications on which you would like to expand.
- Work experience (voluntarily or paid).
- Any family responsibilities.
- Recreational interests.
- Your qualities and strengths.
- Your reasons for wishing to pursue a career in the law.
- Your reasons for applying to Wellers in particular.
- How you and Wellers may gain from your presence with us.
We collate all the applications we receive and then call suitable candidates for interview - generally six months before the start of the contract.
