James was educated at Southampton University and qualified in 1993. He specialises in commercial litigation, landlord and tenant and insolvency. James' most interesting case was an ICC arbitration concerning commercial property in Kiev and the interpretation of Russian and Ukranian constitutional law.
In his spare time James plays football and snooker. He is a keen long distance runner and member of the local gym
